If framing is a difficulty for you let me know and we can perhaps arrange something.

If not satisfied return for a complete refund within ten days of receiving art. The web image representing these works is an approximation, the work itself will look many times better in life. If you want a beautiful work of art I am confident you will be satisfied.

Purchasing
Cashiers check or money order. Send me an E-mail, with any questions, and title or titles of interest. Write "Acrylics" as subject. We can then make arrangements.

(I have not yet decided whether to implement payment through PayPal.)

Jpegs of additional currently available acrylic paintings can be E-mailed upon request. The site displays only a partial selection.

Shipping
Shipping within the US is included in acrylic prices. Overseas will require additional shipping.

Shipping via Ground/ Economy or similar. Allow as much as three weeks processing time for an order, but normally I should have it on the way within a few days. Depends on whether the surf is up.

Materials
The larger acrylics are painted on gessoed 240 LB or 300 LB Watercolor paper and varnished. Small ones usually painted on 4 ply (one
sixteenth inch thick) or 8 ply (one eighth inch thick paper) acid free rag board. Most have a high gloss or semi gloss sheen. They are created using the highest quality acrylic paints and mediums. Most have a primed or unpainted blank border surround. The borders are sometimes slightly distressed when the masking tape is removed from the edges, which does not effect the image, as a matt can cover the border. All have been lightly spray varnished. They are signed on the border below the image. I will rarely place a signature on these images themselves.

Framing Tips
Unless you lean them against a wall, they will require framing, a liner or mat, and Plexiglas. I sometimes leave a 1/4 inch border of the panel showing around the image. Cost will vary, depending upon your framing choices.

Plexiglas is highly recommended. While more costly than regular glass, Plexiglas has superior non reflective qualities. High end museum glass can work as well.

For the larger acrylic paintings, an 8 ply mat or a 4 ply mat lifted by 4 or 8 ply rag paper spacers is essential to avoid contact between the plex/glass and acrylic artwork. As the larger pieces are often thicker in texture than the small. They can also be hinged to a rigid backing and displayed using a fabric covered liner without any plex/glass glazing. A 3 1/2 inch width mat/liner or wider is recommended.

For the smaller acrylics a 4 ply mat is fine. And most would fit a 2 inch wide mat perfectly, or you could go wider. Your call.

Any quality frame shop can help with your choices.
